With a profound passion for medicine, Dr. Nguyen Giap is currently a Specialist Level I in Plastic Surgery, a lecturer at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, and a member of the Vietnam Society of Aesthetic Surgery. He has also presented numerous scientific papers at various international aesthetic conferences.<\/h2>\n

Stepping into Life and a Change of Direction

According to Ng\u01b0\u1eddi Lao \u0110\u1ed9ng Newspaper,<\/a>Doctor Tran Nguyen Giap<\/a>\u00a0hails from a family in Hu\u1ebf known for their tradition of researching and collecting antiques in Ho Chi Minh City. From a young age, he was exposed to and refined his knowledge in literature, history, the arts, and cuisine. Although well-versed in these artistic fields, which seemed to pave the way for him to follow his family's path, at the age of 18, he chose to follow his heart and become a doctor.<\/p>\n

Doctor Nguyen Giap shared: \u201cBorn into a family with a strong educational background, I am truly grateful but also feel some pressure. When choosing my career, I wanted to find a field that was not dry, had an artistic aspect, allowed for creativity, and, importantly, required precision and attention to detail. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City was where I laid the first bricks on my journey to becoming a cosmetic surgeon.\u201d<\/p>\n

18 Years of Dedication to Becoming a Cosmetic Surgeon<\/b><\/p>\n

After six years of study and graduating as a General Practitioner from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, in 2010, Doctor Nguyen Giap pursued further studies in Otolaryngology and Aesthetic Surgery at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2013: Completed a fellowship with Professor William H. Truswell, President of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, marking a significant step toward his dream.<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2014: Continued fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery with Professor Albert Fox in Massachusetts, USA.<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2016: Trained with Dr. Ki Su Jung, a leading expert in liposuction and fat grafting in South Korea. During this seminar, Doctor Nguyen Giap presented on \u201cFat Grafting for Rejuvenation in the Elderly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2017: Received a commemorative medal with Dr. Ji Jung Choi in Manila, Philippines.<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2019: Awarded an honorary diploma by the President of the Aesthetic Surgery Training Association for his contributions to the field of Facial Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.<\/p>\n

After many years of continuous learning and research to enhance his medical knowledge, in 2018, Doctor Nguyen Giap declined several job offers abroad and decided to return to Vietnam. He continued his studies and graduated as the valedictorian in the Specialty I in Aesthetic Surgery at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. In 2020, he officially established his own specialized aesthetic clinic after many years of working in major cosmetic hospitals.<\/p>\n

Doctor Nguyen Giap stated: \u201cAesthetic surgery is an art, created from the hands and minds of dedicated doctors. Beyond being focused and pouring my heart into each surgery, a doctor must understand, empathize, and prioritize the well-being of their patients and clients.\u201d<\/p>\n
